Covid-19 Measures

During this trying time, as we join the rest of the world in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, the well-being of our clients, community and our team are Cato Bolam’s highest priority. Irrespective of the Alert Level, our focus is on supporting our clients, both new and existing, to keep their housing, land development, or subdivision projects moving. All under strict observance of the government guidelines.

Successful protocols established during the last few months, including lockdown, give us the confidence and ability to navigate through these next stages of COVID-19. Whatever Alert Level we find ourselves in during the time ahead, our planners, architects, engineers, surveyors, land contamination and ecology specialists will continue to work closely with you to simplify the housing, land development and subdivision process.

We remain open to new clients and continue to support existing clients to keep projects moving forward.

Please note the following:

In Auckland:

At Alert Level 3, Cato Bolam will continue to provide all usual services with additional safety standards in place to protect clients, the wider community, and our team.

These will include:

  • Limiting public or client access to our Orewa, Henderson and Manukau offices.
  • Strict social distancing.
  • Observance of all necessary hygiene practices.
  • Compulsory contact tracing.
  • All client meetings will be held via video-conferencing or other online methods.

In Northland:

At Alert Level 2, Cato Bolam will continue to provide normal services but with additional safety standards in place to protect our clients, the wider community and our team.

Field Work and Site Visits:

Under Government guidelines, at Alert Levels 2 and 3, most work in the building and construction sector can continue. This means, we will be continuing our fieldwork, including site visits, to ensure our client projects continue to move forward. Our protocols for staff working on-site are based on the Construction Health and Safety (CHASNZ) guidelines.

We have worked through this before and are prepared for any Alert Level. Our processes are fully digital enabling us to work remotely, as necessary, while continuing to provide our highest levels of customer service.
