Scott Lamason Engineering Manager
Scott Lamason is the Engineering Manager at our Orewa office. Scott has over 15 years’ experience in Land Development Engineering in both the private and public sector.
Scott’s design experience with small and large Subdivisions, Schools, Sports Fields, Hospitals, and other public works complements his Regulatory experience to be able to provide high quality strategic advice to your land development project, no matter the size. He champions his client’s best interests and places high value on quality relationships to achieve the clients desired outcome.
His experience lends himself well to provide general advice about most land development issues, in simple to understand terminology, and is a great resource to call upon when you are not sure what the next step is to take. As a valued part of the Cato’s team Scott really enjoys adding value to all of Cato Bolam’s departments, working collaboratively to get the right advice quickly.
Recently Scott has been enjoying the small-scale urban brownfield infill townhouse development, including all the unique challenges that arise from working on small sites with limited space, constrained budgets and difficult neighbours.
Outside of work, Scott is an aspiring Bonsai Artist and you’ll often find him spending far too much time with small trees in pots, running an informal North Auckland Bonsai club from his home in Red Beach and being on the committee for the Auckland Bonsai Club. Scott is supported by a loving wife and two small boys, and is based in Red Beach, Whangaparāoa.
