Survey Technician or Licensed Cadastral Surveyor

Location: Cato Bolam - Orewa Office

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity in our Orewa office for an experienced Survey Technician or Licensed Cadastral Surveyor to work with our high performing survey team who are key in the delivery of all aspects of surveying for a wide range of projects rural, urban and commercial.   Being located on the urban fringe of Auckland, you can avoid the traffic and live close to the country while enjoying work in both rural and urban surveying environments to support our broad client base.  Recent urban legacy projects include; Huapai Triangle, Huapai Country Club, Fairway Bay, Riverhead South and the iconic waterways at Whitianga and Marsden Cove.  This a great opportunity to join one of NZ’s leading survey companies.

 About You

Our ideal candidate would be locally based with NZ experience in all aspects of cadastral and land development surveying for urban, rural or infrastructure projects.  You will ideally have experience working in a multi-discipline environment and be familiar with the surveying inputs to land development projects.

The team is very busy, so it is important that you have excellent communication skills and are comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively depending on the project.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Ideally you will have minimum of 2-10 years + experience

  • Landonline experience and proven competency
  • Great communication and team working skills
  • Good experience and working knowledge of modern survey equipment
  • Ability to provide high quality service to clients
  • Ideally experience with 12D (or Civil 3D), Autocad and 12d Synergy
  • UAV surveying experience an advantage
