The Council’s flood hazard register is based on large-scale flood modelling and may not reflect the intricacies of your specific site. For this reason, any flood hazard identified on your property should not necessarily be taken as completely accurate.
Our engineers can carry out a detailed flood assessment to more accurately define flood levels across your site. This enables us to assess whether proposed building sites and access can be provided at the required levels.
The cost of a flood assessment will depend on the scale of the site and the catchment contributing to the flood flow. We can provide an estimate of costs following an initial consultation.
