The growth of our Architecture team assists Cato Bolam in delivering “one stop shop” beginning to end solutions to our clients across all forms of housing development, from development feasibility, concept and detailed design through resource and building consents to on-site construction management.
At Cato Bolam, we have seen that recent changes to the Auckland Unitary Plan have increasingly led to architecture leading residential development and subdivision. With the expansion of our Architecture team and services, we are able to both lead the design of housing developments and also quickly take existing architecture plans from concept through to consent.
Our Architecture team is led by Rowan Murray, who has 17 years’ experience in architecture across a wide variety of projects. The philosophy behind his designs is to create an asset that will be valued in the long term.
Good architectural design will ensure buildings are enjoyed and valued by their users, and proper selection of materials and detailing will ensure that they are fit to last the distance.
Our architecture team is available to assist in a wide range of residential, commercial and industrial projects of all scales.
We are able to take a project all the way from initial feasibility and concept design to Building Consent, project management and completion.
We place high importance on understanding our client’s brief, listening to their unique requirements, and going beyond expectations to deliver cost-effective, creative and inspired architectural solutions. Our architects work closely with our planners and engineers, and any other required consultants, to ensure the client’s project runs smoothly through the design, Council approvals and construction phases of a development.
We aim to make the complex simple.
