Kiwi Art Trail

We are proud sponsors of the Kiwi Art Trail, which features 20 sculptures designed by talented New Zealand artists in downtown Auckland.

The Kiwi Art Trail is designed to raise awareness about the plight of the kiwi and what every day New Zealanders can do to help. These individually designed sculptures will be on display in downtown Auckland for four weeks, ending on 3rd November. When the trail ends the sculptures will be auctioned, with proceeds from the auction going towards raising the next generation of kiwi at the Gallagher Kiwi Burrow, a facility managed by Save the Kiwi that incubates and hatches kiwi chicks and releases them into the wild.

The trail features sculptures of our national bird decorated by some of our best homegrown artists, including Otis Frizzell, Flox, Mike Weston, SWEATS and Amanda Billing.

The sculptures can be found in Commercial Bay, The Viaduct, Wynard Quarter, and Silo Park.
