The Details
The proposal will develop a 13.44ha site into 89 residential lots with an average size of 1,000m² and will provide a unique, high amenity lifestyle option adjacent to the coastal environment. The development includes extensive streetscape, ecological, coastal, landscape and wetland restoration planting, and indigenous bush, wetland, riparian and landscape covenants, along with a number of reserves.
The development is centred around the Historic Hobbs Homestead that will be repurposed as a café with the surrounding grounds landscaped to create a heritage garden setting in keeping with the original homestead. The Homestead will provide a community focal point for the subdivision and wider residential area and will provide a visual and physical connection to the coast via the numerous reserves and pedestrian accessways.
